Pau Gasol on astonishing performance in 2017 EuroBasket

There has been a lot of drama in basketball’s summer hyped regarding Kyrie Irving’s trade in NBA’s upcoming season, however, everything got their eyes on the 2017 EuroBasket. Young power player Nikola Jokic of Denver Nuggets are one of the key players that skipped the tournament and there are a lot as well that decided not to join. On the other side of the coin, others have joined their respective national teams.

Time and time, brothers Marc Gasol and Pau Gasol had always made their team exciting and these guys never missed a national and international basketball tournament. The siblings have always been on a very top level and consistently improving over time with regards how they are in the court and especially in the NBA as well.

NBA San Antonio Spurs are by far very explosive lately ever since Pau Gasol stepped in the team and in line with that Pau Gasol’s career and performance in the tournament. Moving forward, Pau Gasol’s PER has a great and impressive statistics boasting a PER of 55.1 which is much better Marc Gasol since his elder brother has the most experience in the court. It is not a shocking news too that Pau is compared to Wilt Chamberlain with the only and is the only record holder in the NBA with a stat of 31.82 PER.

Although power man Pau Gasol may have missed some of his game in the tournament against Romania but still his statistics in the tournament have been very remarkable and consistent. With a tournament record of 8.7 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, 15.7 points and 57.1 percent in the shooting field. Pau Gasol right now is at age 37 but he can still deliver if the team needs him to and there are still a whole lot to him and it is still not the end of the road for him.
